A very forgettable few months drifted along with him as an unwilling passenger. But as June came around, he'd
decided he wanted to be back on the kibbutz even though his hopes of a residence permit had been dashed. It was
back to being a volunteer, though back in his old position as shift manager and would have someone else around to
help with the running of things.
He realised that once more it wasn't going to be a permanent thing and would once again have to face the
sadness that came when his volunteer visas ran out and it'd be time to leave.
But that was the future. He was living in the now.
